Good morning, Tigers. No. 21/18 LSU softball took the series over No. 12/11 Arizona with two wins before falling in Sunday's finale. Jalia Lassiter went 3-for-4 for her 10th multi-hit game of the season, and Kylee Edwards also logged her 10th multi-hit outing with an RBI on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers travel to UL Lafayette on Tuesday before hosting Ole Miss April 17-19 at Tiger Park.

🔼 On Par. No. 7 LSU men's golf tees off at The Ford Collegiate in Richmond Hill, Ga., today and tomorrow. The Tigers face one of their toughest fields of the spring, with No. 1 Auburn, No. 4 Texas, No. 16 Oklahoma, No. 19 Georgia Tech, and No. 23 Georgia all in the field. LSU's lineup is led by sophomore Árni Sveinsson (69.52 stroke avg.) and juniors Noah McWilliams (69.75) and Jay Mendell (69.76), who are all having standout seasons. Freshman Dan Hayes, signed as the No. 1 junior in Europe, rounds out a lineup that enters the event with serious momentum.
🔼 At Augusta. Sam Burns finished the Masters yesterday tied for seventh alongside Collin Morikawa. Burns went +1 on Sunday en route to finishing nine under par for the iconic tournament.

🔼 Battle on the Bayou. No. 12 LSU beach volleyball went 4-0 at the Battle on the Bayou this weekend, sweeping Texas A&M-Kingsville 5-0 and defeating Southeastern Louisiana 4-1 among their wins. Tatum Finlason and Skylar Martin were dominant all weekend, going a combined straight-sets in both matches, while Kenzey McGatlin and Julia Sprecher battled through a three-set win to complete the sweep of Kingsville. The Sandy Tigs honored their seniors during the home weekend and head to Clearwater Beach for the Gulf Front Invitational, April 17-18.

🔼 Senior Day Sweep. LSU men's tennis closed the regular season in style, defeating Kentucky 4-1 on Senior Day and finish 24-5 overall, 10-4 in the SEC. Senior Matias Ponce de Leon was the star of the night, winning in both doubles and singles to cap his regular season at 17-7. Freshman Olaf Pieczkowski delivered a dominant performance against No. 20 Eli Stephenson, winning 6-2, 6-1, and Andrej Loncarevic clinched the match with a straight-sets win, extending his win streak to six. The Tigers head next to the SEC Tournament, hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, April 14-19 at the Mitchell Tennis Center.

🔼 Throwing for History. LSU track & field put on a dominant showing at the Baylor Invitational, racking up multiple event wins and record book moves in one day of action. Junior Alexis Guillory won the women's javelin with a new PR of 53.74m, while Paul Catalanatto Jr. won the men's javelin at 72.27m, placing him sixth in program history and top 15 nationally. Junior Aniyah Bigam stole the show in the 200m, clocking a PR of 22.71 seconds to finish first among collegiate athletes. The women's 4x100 relay also turned in a season-best 43.08, the fifth-fastest time in the country.

🔼 Welcome Home. LSU women's basketball has added senior guard Laila Reynolds, a transfer from Florida, for the 2026-27 season. The 6-1 guard averaged 12.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game last season while starting 97 of 98 games during her three years with the Gators. She also has existing chemistry with current Tigers; Reynolds played alongside Mikaylah Williams and MiLaysia Fulwiley in the 2023 McDonald's All-American Game.
