Lagniappe. The LSU Women's Basketball program had a remarkable 2024-25 campaign, celebrating the program's 50th anniversary and finishing in the Elite 8 for the third year in a row under head coach Kim Mulkey.

🔼 Not Our First Rodeo. LSU baseball defeated McNeese 10-3 to start a nine-game home stand at The Box! William Schmidt earned the win with 3.1 innings pitches and four strikeouts. Three was the lucky number for Jared Jones as he went 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs scored and three RBI and a home run.

🔼 Second-Place Start. LSU women’s golf remains in second-place after the second round of the SEC Championship! They sit at 6-under, behind South Carolina at -20. Taylor Riley sits tied for third, while Rocio Tejedo is tied for eighth. The final round of stroke play is set for today and the top eight teams will advance to match play.

🔼 Built Tough. The men’s golf team placed second at The Ford Collegiate in Georgia. They shot an even par score of 840 for 54 holes. Algot Kleen tied for third at 3-under, while Alfons Bondesson placed sixth at 2-under. The Tigers will prepare for the SEC Championship, starting April 23.

🔼 Another One. Beach volleyball’s Gabi Bailey and Parker Bracken have been named the CCSA Pair of the Week, again! The duo went 4-0 over the weekend at the Battle on the Bayou, beating Houston Christian, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Tulane, and UNO.
