🎥 LSU+

The Powerhouse. Competition in the SEC is second to none and the LSU baseball team has battled through the first 15 games to a 10-5 record. Freshmen Casan Evans and Derek Curiel have exemplified Coach Johnson’s belief as the rookies have taken on significant roles, improving every single day through rigorous competition among their teammates and the best conference in the country.

🔼 Champion Chio. The LSU gymnastics season came to a close in the NCAA Championship Semifinals last night, but there was a bright spot in the meet. Kailin Chio closed her freshman season as an NCAA Vault Champion! She scored a 9.975 in the event to take the crown. The Tigers finished third at the meet behind Utah and UCLA.

🔼 Roll Tigers. LSU baseball started the weekend series with an 11-6 win over Alabama! The Tigers trailed heading into the seventh inning, but Steven Milam hit a three-run rocket to push the Tigers ahead and they never looked back. Ethan Frey and Ashton Larson also hit home runs in the win.

The series will continue tonight at 6 p.m. and conclude tomorrow at 5 p.m. Tomorrow’s game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

🔼 Fell Short. LSU softball was walked off by No. 3 Texas last night as the Longhorns won 7-3. The Tigers led 3-0 through five innings before Texas pulled ahead with two home runs.

The series will continue today at 4:30 p.m. and conclude tomorrow at 11 a.m. Tomorrow’s game will air on ESPN2.

🔼 Onto The Next. The 11th-ranked women’s tennis team has advanced to the SEC Tournament quarterfinal! They eliminated Kentucky 4-0 yesterday to advance. Today, they’ll face No. 3-seed Kentucky at 9 a.m.

🔼  Dive In. LSU divers earned high praises from the SEC! Carson Paul was named the SEC Male Diver of the Year, while Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant was named SEC Female Co-Diver of the Year. Additionally, Megan Barnes, Zoe Carlos-Broc, Sabrina Lyn, and Sofia Sartori earned All-SEC Second Team honors. Volodymyr Lisovets and Nikola Simic made the All-Freshman men’s team, while Carlos-Broc and Grace Palmer made the women’s.
