🏖️ Regular season finale
🐯 And so much more!

🔼 What A Run. LSU women’s tennis’ incredible run through the SEC Tournament came to an end in a nail-biter against Auburn on Sunday evening, as Auburn took the match, 4-3.

🔼 Clean Sweep. No. 22/17 LSU softball closed out a sweep of Ole Miss with an 8-5 win Sunday, rallying from a 5-4 deficit to claim the program's first sweep of the 2026 season. Tori Edwards was the catalyst, homering twice in the final three innings, including a tying leadoff blast in the fifth and a go-ahead shot in the sixth, finishing 3-for-3 with two homers, two RBI, and a walk. It was her third career two-homer game. Alix Franklin's RBI triple broke the tie in the sixth before an Ole Miss error scored another run to make it 8-5. Reliever Paytn Monticelli was perfect in the series, going 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA across 7.0 innings.

🔼 Record Setters. LSU track and field had a big Saturday at the Tom Jones Invitational in Gainesville, headlined by a new program record in the women's 4×400-meter relay. The squad of Ella Onojuvwevwo, Rafiatu Nuhu, Kennedi Burks, and Shawnti Jackson ran 3:23.94, the third-fastest time in the NCAA this season. Jackson's closing split of 49.68 seconds was the difference-maker. Freshman Athaleyha Hinckson also turned heads in the 100 meters with an 11.10-second personal best, setting the Guyanese national record and moving to No. 2 in the world among U20 runners. Freshman Jillian Scully rounded out the day with a 57.25-meter discus throw, placing her fourth in LSU history and fourth in the world for U20 throwers.

🔼 Regular Season Finale. No. 13 LSU beach volleyball went 3-1 at the Gulf Front Invitational in Clearwater Beach, sweeping Mercer, South Florida, and FGCU before dropping a 0-5 decision to No. 5 Florida State. The Sandy Tigs turn around quickly, heading to Huntington Beach, Calif., for the MPSF Conference Championship April 22-24.

🔼 Closing Strong. LSU women's golf closed the SEC Championship on a high note over the weekend. Senior Taylor Riley saved her best for last, carding a 3-under 67 on Sunday, one of only six players in the 80-person field to shoot that low, highlighted by four birdies on her final nine holes, including a pinch-perfect putt off the fringe on the eighth that rattled the pin and dropped. Riley led the team with nine birdies across the 54 holes and finished at T31. The Tigers now await their NCAA Regional assignment on April 29, with regionals set for May 11-13.
