Gold Standard with Bill Franques. It's a big weekend at The Box as LSU hosts Tennessee for a sold-out, consequential three-game set. Bill and Will break it all down and recap the past few weeks. They also sit down for an interview with former 2000 national champion catcher Brad Cresse.

🔼 Brace Yourself. LSU women’s tennis players brought home a haul of SEC honors! Cadence Brace was named the SEC Freshman of the Year with First Team All-SEC and All-Freshman honors. She earned 11 singles wins in the top spot, including eight ranked victories. Kayla Cross earned Second Team All-SEC and All-Freshman honors after a regular season where she was paired with Brace in doubles. She also holds a 10-2 singles record.

🔼 We’re In. The women’s golf team was selected as a No. 2 seed at the Columbus Regional in Columbus, Ohio! They’ll begin play at the Ohio State University Golf Club - Scarlet Course from May 5-7. The top five teams from the six regional sites will advance to the NCAA Championship.

🔼 Strong Start. The men’s golf team started the SEC Championship strong! They sit tied for second after shooting 9-under in the first round. Jay Mendell leads the team tied for fifth at 4-under, while Matty Dodd-Berry is tied for 10th at 3-under. Round two will begin today at 7 a.m.

🔼 Big 4’s Back. Women’s basketball’s Flau’Jae Johnson sat down with Front Office Sports to discuss her decision to return to LSU. She looks to be a consistent leader and build her basketball IQ. Click here to read more!
