The Fighting Tigers had two perfect scores in the 2026 NCAA Baton Rouge Regional Championship – one from sophomore Kailin Chio, who scored a 10.000 on vault, while sophomore Kaliya Lincoln finished the night with a 10.000 on floor, the first of her collegiate career.

🔼 Player of the Week. Sophomore catcher Cade Arrambide earned SEC Co-Player of the Week honors after a monster week that included a record-breaking performance at Tennessee. Arrambide hit .600 across three games with four homers, eight RBI, six runs, and a .692 on-base percentage, leading LSU to a series victory over the Vols. Arrambide saved his best for Sunday's 16-6 series-clinching win, belting four home runs, including a grand slam that capped a 10-run 12th-inning explosion, to become just the fourth player in SEC history and the first in LSU history to go deep four times in a single game. His first homer sparked a comeback from a 5-0 deficit, and his third gave LSU the lead in the 11th before the grand slam blew the game open.

🔼 On Deck. LSU softball opens a stretch of seven of eight games at home when they welcome Central Arkansas to Tiger Park today at 6 p.m. CT. LSU holds a commanding 13-1 all-time edge in the series and has won five straight meetings. Kylee Edwards has been on fire since mid-February, batting .370 with eight homers, 22 RBI, and a .778 slugging percentage over that stretch. Jayden Heavener anchors the pitching staff with a 9-6 record, 2.61 ERA, and 89 strikeouts in 99.1 innings, while Cece Cellura has allowed just two walks over her last 28.1 frames.

🔼 Welcome to LSU. LSU women’s soccer coach Sian Hudson bolstered the Tigers' back line with the signing of two top defensive talents in Ryleigh Albin (Flower Mound, Texas) and Kylee Rocha (Elk Grove, Calif.). Albin arrives from FC Dallas's ECNL program as a two-time Texas All-Conference selection who helped Marcus High School capture the 2025 Texas 6A State Championship, earning Defensive MVP and All-State honors. She has also trained with the Houston Dash in the NWSL. Rocha brings a decorated resume from De Anza Force, including four ECNL All-Conference First Team selections, five years as a team captain, and three U.S. Youth National Team futsal championships. She transfers to LSU from Iowa to help replace significant minutes lost from last fall's graduating defenders.

🔼 Welcome to the Show. Kim Mulkey has added veteran assistant Fitzroy Anthony to the Tiger staff after 11 seasons at Miami, where he spent his last four years as associate head coach. Anthony helped guide the Hurricanes to six NCAA Tournament appearances, including their first Elite Eight in 2023, and worked with 10 All-ACC performers and two WNBA draft picks.
