🔼 The Path To The NFL. Three Tigers were taken during the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft! Jayden Daniels was the first Tiger off the board as the Washington Commanders selected him with the No. 2 pick of the draft. He’s the highest-drafted player of Brian Kelly’s career. Malik Nabers didn’t have to wait long to hear his name called. The New York Giants drafted him at No. 6 overall, ten years after drafting former Tiger Odell Beckham Jr. Brian Thomas Jr. was up next, he was taken by the Jacksonville Jaguars at pick No. 23. The draft will continue throughout the rest of the weekend.

🔼 Home, Sweet Home. LSU baseball is finally back at The Box for an SEC series as they host Auburn this weekend. LSU sits second in the conference in strikeouts with 467. Friday night starter Gage Jump is coming off a week where he earned SEC Pitcher of the Week. First pitch is tonight at 6:30 pm, all three games will stream on SEC Network+.

🔼 SEC Finale. Tiger softball will host No. 13 Arkansas in their final SEC series of the season. The Tigers are 13-7 against top-25 opponents this season. They sit at No. 4 in the conference in batting average with a .304 and 368 hits. First pitch is tonight at 6 pm, they’ll continue tomorrow at 4 pm, and conclude on Sunday at 1 pm. All three games are streaming on SEC Network+.

🔼 Championship Season. The 10th-ranked Sandy Tigs will be playing in the CCSA Championship in Huntsville, Alabama this weekend! They’ll take on No. 17 GCU in the first round today at 11:30 am. LSU lost to GCU earlier in the season at the Mid-Season CCSA Tournament. The winner will play again at 1:30 pm and the loser at 3 pm against either Florida State or South Carolina.

🐯 MEET THE NEW TIGER

We’re introducing you to the newest member of LSU women’s basketball, Mjracle Sheppard! She’s a 5’10 sophomore guard who is familiar with the SEC, she spent her freshman year at Mississippi State. She averaged 5.1 points per game and scored in double figures in three games. She also averaged 2.1 assists per game and totaled 48 steals last season. Against Kennesaw State, she recorded a career-high 7 steals. In high school, she won the 2021-22 National Championship at Montverde Academy.
