🔼 Protect This House. The third-ranked LSU Tigers protected The Box over the weekend, taking two of three from top-ranked Arkansas, including a run rule victory over the Hogs on Saturday night.

In the opener, LSU used a flair for the dramatic to pick up a 5-4 extra inning win before rolling out the offense and dominating Saturday’s showdown with the Razorbacks.

🔼 Regional Ready. For the ninth time in the past 10 tournaments, the LSU softball program will be hosting a NCAA Regional opening weekend.

The Tigers claimed the no. 10 overall seed for the second straight year and will host arguably the toughest regional in the field, featuring Nebraska as the No. 2 seed, Big East Tournament Champions UCONN as the No. 3 seed, and Southland Conference Champions Southeastern Louisiana as the fourth seed. The Tigers will take on Southeastern at 4:30 p.m. CT on Friday, May 16, on SEC Network.

It will be the 16th time LSU has hosted a regional. LSU holds a 65-31 record in the NCAA Tournament Regional round.

🔼 Still Dancin’. The historic season for the LSU women’s tennis team isn’t quite over.

Senior Gaby Rivera earned a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 come-from-behind victory to lift the 13th-ranked Tigers past No. 4 Ohio State, 4-2, in NCAA Super Regional action on Friday.

The Tigers advance to the NCAA Team Championship for the first time in program history. LSU improves to 24-7 on the season, matching the program’s all-time best record set by the 1978 team.

🔼 Connect Four. Before kicking off regional action, the LSU softball program earned some accolades over the weekend.

Four Tigers garnered 2025 All-SEC selections highlighted by infielder Tori Edwards, who is the 2025 SEC Freshman of the Year and 2025 All-SEC First Team selection.

Catcher Maci Bergeron, pitcher Sydney Berzon, and infielder Danieca Coffey were honored on the 2025 All-SEC Second Team.
