Francesca Fiorellini continues to dominate for the Tigers as she sits in a tie for first place at five-under heading into today’s final round! The top five teams advance to the NCAA Championships, and the Tigers will tee off this morning at 8 a.m. from the first hole.

No. 18 LSU softball opens NCAA Tournament play on Friday at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN+ against Akron, hosting the Baton Rouge Regional for the 17th time in program history and the fourth straight season. The Tigers are the No. 16 overall seed and welcome No. 11/14 Virginia Tech, South Alabama, and Akron to Tiger Park for what marks LSU's 20th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. 🔼 Comeback Tiger. LSU gymnastics has added Georgia transfer Ariel Posen to its 2027 roster, bringing in a highly decorated gymnast making her return to competition after a medical retirement in 2023. The New Jersey native is a five-star recruit on College Gym News, a 10-time State Champion, eight-time Regional Champion, and Junior Olympic Floor Champion. She'll add depth to the beam and bars lineups for a Tigers program coming off a 2026 NCAA runner-up finish.
