🎥 LSU+: ON THE MIC

Did you know that we’re closing in on 100 days until the return of LSU football?

That’s right, before we know it, the Tigers will be back on the gridiron and
what better time than now to rewind to some of the best mic’d up
moments from spring ball, starting with the offensive side of the ball.

🔼 Lights, Camera, Action. One of the premier matchups of the early 2025 college football season will be under the primetime lights this August.

This week, it was announced that LSU’s matchup at Clemson on August 30 will kickoff at 6:30 pm on ABC. In a likely Top-10 matchup, the two teams will meet in the first time ever during the regular season.

This marks the fourth consecutive year LSU’s season-opener will be televised in prime time on ABC.

The meeting with Clemson will be the first for the Tigers since the CFP National Championship Game in January of 2020 when LSU posted a 42-25 win in New Orleans.

🔼 Captain America. The reigning NL Rookie of the Year will be donning the Red, White and Blue next spring.

On Tuesday evening, it was announced that LSU legend Paul Skenes will be a starter for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic that takes place next March.

🔼 Major Dreams. Another former LSU legend will be chasing major dreams of his own this weekend in Charlotte, N.C.

Sam Burns, a five-time winner on the PGA Tour, is amongst the field at the 2025 PGA Championship hosted at Quail Hollow Golf Club.

This is Burns’ fifth time competing at the Championship and 20th overall start at a major event.

His best finish in a major came last year at the 2024 U.S. Open when he finished ninth.
