🎥 LSU+: ON THE MIC

Did you know that we’re closing in on 100 days until the return of LSU football?

That’s right, before we know it, the Tigers will be back on the gridiron and
what better time than now to rewind to some of the best mic’d up
moments from spring ball, starting with the offensive side of the ball.

🔼 Regional Ready. The time has come. It’s regional time in Baton Rouge.

LSU enters the 2025 NCAA Softball Tournament as the #10 overall seed and will take the field against a tough Southeastern Louisiana squad this afternoon at Tiger Park.

This year marks LSU’s 16th time hosting a regional and have hosted the regional round in nine of the last 10 seasons dating back to 2015.

🔼 Teein’ It Up. For the fifth consecutive year, the No. 12 ranked LSU Tigers will be a part of the national championship event which begins here on Friday at the OMNI La Costa Resort and Spa. It is the second of five years that the event will be held at this iconic golf course.

LSU is one of nine teams in the tournament that has appeared in the last five NCAA Championships. For the Tigers, who entered the 2024-25 season with some new pieces who stepped in after the departure of Ingrid Lindblad, Latanna Stone and Carla Tejedo, the year has shown how this program has continued on another journey to this event.

In fact, this fifth straight appearance is a school record, topping the four straight of 1998-2001 and last year’s fourth consecutive appearance.

🔼 Helping Hands. Madison Martin didn’t just make her impact on the court, she was a leader in the community.

On Thursday, Martin became the first LSU women’s student-athlete to be named the 2024-25 Brad Davis SEC Community Service Leader of the Year.

The Brad Davis SEC Community Service winners will each receive a $7,500 post-graduate scholarship provided by the SEC. The Male and Female Brad Davis Community Service Leaders of the Year selections will each receive a $15,000 post-graduate scholarship from the SEC.

Martin, a four-year letterwinner and two-time SEC Volleyball Community Service Team selection, has spent over 250 hours doing community service projects, giving back to LSU and the Baton Rouge communities.
