The YETI Gamechanger of the Week is softball’s Jalia Lassiter!

LSU trailed 2-0 through two innings in the Regional Championship against Virginia Tech, but a four-spot in the third sparked seven unanswered runs to send the Fighting Tigers to Supers. The rally was ignited by Jalia Lassiter’s solo shot.

🔼 To Be Super. LSU softball is heading to Tuscaloosa! The No. 16 Tigers will take on No. 1 Alabama on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., with a potential rubber match on Sunday if necessary. Tickets available here.

🔼 Tourney Time. LSU baseball opens the SEC Tournament in Hoover today. The 14th-seeded Tigers are set to take on 11th-seeded Oklahoma in the first round. The game is expected to get underway at 8 p.m. on SEC Network; please note the start time is approximate and the first pitch will be 30 minutes following the end of the prior game.

🔼 All-Conference. Four Tigers earned All-SEC honors ahead of the SEC Tournament. Derek Curiel and Steven Milam each landed on the second team and earned All-Defensive recognition, while Omar Serna, Jr. and Mason Braun both received freshman team honors.

🔼 Elite Company. LSU women’s golf is one of just eight women’s golf programs in the nation that has qualified for the national championship for the last six seasons! The NCAA Championships get underway from Carlsbad, Calif. on Friday.
