🎥 LSU+: DEFYING THE ODDS

LSU's ace starting pitchers Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson have
felt the fruits of their labor from the offseason come to life.

As one of the best starting pitching duos in the country, Anderson and
Eyanson have paced the Tigers' staff to be in the hunt for
a national seed come NCAA tournament time.

🔼 Trophy Chasing. In March, the madness happens on the court.

In May, the madness happens on the diamond and there is no more competitive week in the country than at the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala.

The top-ranked Tigers are set to kick off their stay at the event tonight when they host 14th-seeded Texas A&M at 7:30 pm.

🔼 Rollin’ To Regionals. Hope Jacksonville is ready for a Tiger invasion.

The Tigers will be represented at next week’s NCAA East First Round by 34 student athletes across 39 entries next week.

To mirror the format of the national meet, the First Round will be contested over four days with alternating men’s and women’s programs. The top 12 in each event advance to Eugene, Ore., for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships, which are set for June 11-14.

🔼 Arms Race. There’s no shortage of arms for the LSU baseball program.

Eyanson, who has won three straight SEC starts over Texas A&M, Arkansas and South Carolina, is 9-2 this season with a 2.88 ERA, 30 walks and 121 strikeouts in 81.1 innings while limiting opponents to a .213 cumulative batting average.

Finalists for the National Pitcher of the Year Award will be announced on June 4, with the 2025 winner to be announced at a date to be finalized later that month.

🔼 Earning Her Rose. This week, the USTFCCCA released their sixth update for The Bowerman Women’s Watch List and to no surprise, Michaela Rose found her name on the list.

It is her 12th -overall appearance on the list and for the second update in a row.

Rose is fresh off of earning her sixth 800-meter title at the SEC Championships, and the third in-a-row outdoors, an SEC record. The senior clocked a time 1:59.75 to earn the win by almost two seconds, scoring 10 points for the Tigers. She will be searching for the NCAA record this postseason, a time that she has solely trailed as the No. 2 runner in NCAA history since her sophomore season.
