🔼 The Season Finale. LSU softball's run came to a close with a 4-1 loss to No. 1 overall seed Alabama in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. Jayden Heavener threw her 16th complete game of the season, striking out eight, but Alabama broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the fourth. Tori Edwards drove in LSU's lone run with a two-out single in the third. The Tigers finish the year at 40-19 after reaching the Super Regional round for the 11th time in program history. Head coach Beth Torina praised the team's growth throughout the season, calling the Super Regional berth "a huge deal" and expressing excitement about the future.

🔼 Looking Ahead. LSU women’s golf finished the NCAA Championships tied for 16th place in Carlsbad, shy of the cut line, and the Tigers saw their season come to a close. LSU will chase its seventh straight NCAA championship appearance next season.
