🔼 Load Up The Box. Don’t put away the grills yet, we’ve got some tailgating at The Box to do!

After being announced as a regional host on Sunday, the LSU baseball team learned its NCAA Tournament fate, being named the No. 6 national seed for the 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

The Tigers will play host to No. 2 seed Dallas Baptist, No. 3 seed Rhode Island and LSU’s first round opponent No. 4 seeded Arkansas-Little Rock.

The No. 6 National Seed marks LSU’s second appearance among the Top 8 seeds in the past three seasons. The Tigers were the No. 5 National Seed in 2023, when they claimed their seventh College World Series title.

LSU is a Top 8 National Seed for the 12th time since 1999, when the NCAA adopted its current 64-team tournament format.

🔼 Earning Their (Stars &) Stripes. While they may both hail from our neighbors up north, the LSU women’s tennis duo of Cadence Brace and Kayla Cross have a little American on their resume now.

That’d be 2025 All-Americans.

Brace and Cross became the 16th and 17th All-Americans in program history, marking LSU’s first All-American honors since 2023.

Brace adds another accolade to her resume after being named the SEC Freshman of the Year with a first-team All-SEC selection. Meanwhile, Brace shared an SEC All-Freshman team selection with Cross, who was named to the All-SEC second team.

🎥 LSU+: THE REAL DEAL

Algot Kleen earned SEC Newcomer of the Year after transferring to LSU from
East Tennessee State and now just made his professional debut
at the Soudal Open in Belgium this past weekend.
