🔼 Tee Off. No. 7 LSU men's golf opens the NCAA Championship today at the OMNI La Costa Resort & Spa, teeing off at 2:45 p.m. CT alongside Ole Miss and North Carolina. All five Tiger starters rank in the top 151 nationally, led by juniors Jay Mendell (No. 47) and Noah McWilliams (No. 62), both Louisiana natives. Freshman Dan Hayes has been what coach Jake Amos calls the team's "absolute rock," while sophomore Arni Sveinsson rounds into form after dealing with an injury. LSU posted three wins and 10 top-four finishes in 11 events this season. The Tigers are making their 44th NCAA Championship appearance and have five national titles to their name, most recently in 2015.
🔼 Ticket Punched. LSU’s Alexis Guillory is heading to Eugene for the NCAA Championships! The Tiger qualified for the big dance for the first time in her career.
