Tigers Win. On the latest edition of Tigers Win, Cadence Brace, SEC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Year, stops by the studio to talk about the Tigers' impressive 2025 campaign. She also previewed the Baton Rouge Regional in which the Tigers won.

🔼 Eye On The Prize. The chase begins today.

The 10th-ranked LSU softball squad begins their quest for an SEC title this morning when they take the field against 17th-ranked Mississippi State in the first round.

No. 10/9 LSU ranks second in the SEC with a .341 batting average behind 458 hits. It has a league-best 252 walks to contribute to a .446 on-base percentage, which ranks No. 5 in the country. In the circle, the Tigers have a 2.82 ERA with 12 shutouts and 300 strikeouts and have held opposing batters to a .213 average.

🔼 In The Hunt. With just 18 holes to play in the NCAA Columbus Regional, the LSU women’s golf team finds themselves right in the hunt for a qualifying spot at the NCAA Championships.

After Tuesday’s second round, the Tigers, playing in conditions they hadn’t seen in a college tournament in a while – low 50 temperatures and a steady, windy rain that left players miserable – must rally to make the NCAA Championships for what would be a school record fifth consecutive year.

It appears that four teams in the NCAA Columbus Regional will be aiming for the final fifth spot in qualifying among fifth place SMU (+16), LSU and Kent State (T6, +17) and Houston (8, +20).

🔼 Helping Hands. Being a Tiger means so much more than what happens on the field.

Nobody exemplifies that better than LSU hurler Tatum Clopton and on Tuesday, she was recognized for exactly that.

Clopton was named to the 2025 SEC Softball Community Service Team, which looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.

The Lawrence, Kansas native has exemplified outstanding leadership for the LSU Tigers on and off the field. She has actively participated in events for Geaux Teal, the Miracle League of Louisiana, and LSU’s annual MLK Service Day. Through LSU Tiger Life, Clopton has also engaged in numerous community outreach efforts. She has taken on a leadership role within the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, organizing team huddles for the softball team during road trips and demonstrating her commitment to supporting and uplifting those around her.
