Clear your schedules this morning, you’ve got a sendoff to get to!
LSU fans will have the opportunity to send the baseball team off to the College World Series this morning as the team departs Alex Box Stadium for Omaha, Neb.
Fans are encouraged to arrive by 9:15 a.m. CT outside of Alex Box Stadium near Gate 1. Fans coming to campus for the sendoff may park in the Hall of Fame lot on the third base side of the stadium.
The Tigers’ team buses will depart Alex Box Stadium for the Baton Rouge airport at 9:30 a.m. CT.

Today in Eugene, Oregon, the LSU track & field squad hits the track for the first of four days at the NCAA Championship meet with the men kicking off the action with semifinal action on the track and final action in the field.

🔼 Road To The Show. It’s every little leaguer’s dream to one day put on a MLB uniform.
Former LSU right-hander Grant Taylor reached that dream after being promoted to the Chicago White Sox big league roster and joining the team in Houston this week.
Taylor, a product of Florence, Ala., is the 89th Major Leaguer in the illustrious history of LSU Baseball. LSU has had at least one former player make his MLB debut in of 31 of the past 35 seasons.
The right-hander began the 2025 season in the starting rotation for Double-A Birmingham, allowing just three earned runs across 17.1 innings, while striking out 19 batters and walking 10.

The Chicago Sky forward and former LSU women’s hoops star was named the 2025 BET Sportswoman of the Year for a third straight year.
The second-year WNBA star is the first athlete since tennis icon Serena Williams to win the BET Sportswoman of the Year award three times.
