Good Morning Tigers. You know it’s a good day when you get this reaction from Mama…

What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below!

🎥 LSU+: PAIR OF ACES

Another dominant performance on the mound for one half of
the dynamic duo of Anderson and Eyanson.

The duo has seen the fruits of their offseason labor come to life
this spring and Saturday night was no different.

🔼 Special K. Facing one of the top offenses in the country, on the biggest stage… enter Kade Anderson.

Anderson was brilliant on Saturday, twirling seven innings of one-run, three-hit baseball to lift the Tigers past third-seeded Arkansas, 4-1, and onto a Monday night date with UCLA.

“It was a great win for our team, an outstanding performance against a great team in Arkansas,” said LSU coach Jay Johnson.

🔼 First of Many. She just keeps making history.

LSU legend Angel Reese continued her takeover of the WNBA, posting her first career triple-double on Sunday in Chicago Sky’s win over the Connecticut Sun.

Reese finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, while also grabbing three steals and blocking two shots.

🔼 Lasting Legacy. The LSU baseball squad didn’t just win on the field over the weekend, they won off the field as well.

Throughout his three-year college career – two seasons at Auburn and one at LSU – Stanfield has been a fixture in his communities. He launched his “Be The 1” Campaign at LSU, where he donates $100 to the Miracle League in Baton Rouge for every game he has an extra-base hit or stolen base.

The Gwynn Trophy, conceptualized for the 2025 season, honors collegiate baseball student-athletes who are active in their community and represent their programs with integrity, while excelling in the classroom and on the field. The Gwynn Trophy was created to honor Tony’s legacy and the unyielding commitment to his community and the advancement of collegiate baseball.

🔼 A 10-Piece. Hopefully the LSU track & field squad packed an extra suitcase for all the hardware coming back to Baton Rouge.

The Tigers earned Top-30 finish on both the women’s (13th) and men’s (28th) side of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon over the weekend.

In total, LSU finished with first team All-American accolades in 10 different events.
