Tigers Pull Ahead, Delayed Until This Morning In Omaha
Happy Tuesday LSU Fam. You know how our parents always used to tell us, “good things come to those who wait”?
Well, Mother Nature is testing that theory for us Tiger fans.

🐯 And much more!

The YETI Game Changer of the Week is baseball’s Kade Anderson, of course! The junior southpaw was brilliant in game one in Omaha, tossing seven innings, allowing just one run and three hits, while striking out seven in the 4-1 victory over Arkansas on Saturday evening.

🔼 The Waiting Game. Who doesn’t love a little breakfast with the Tigers?
After jumping out to an early lead in Monday’s showdown with UCLA, Mother Nature had other ideas with severe storms rolling through, which caused the suspension and ultimately the decision to resume the game this morning at 10 am.
The game will resume at the beginning of the top of the fourth inning with LSU leading 5-3, and UCLA coming to bat. The game will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
The winner of the LSU-UCLA game will advanced to the winner’s bracket round at 6 p.m. CT Wednesday. The loser of the LSU-UCLA game will meet Arkansas in an elimination game at 6 p.m. CT tonight.
After the Bruins jumped out to an early lead, LSU responded with four runs in the bottom of the first as rightfielder Jake Brown smacked an RBI single, and first baseman Jared Jones unloaded a three-run homer, his 21st dinger of the season.
Quite the Sunday for @mondohoss600.
1) Hang with the Goat.
2) Break the World Record for the 12th time.
3) Celebrate.

🔼 Make It A Dozen. And the legend of Mondo Duplantis continues to grow.
Competing in Stockholm’s Diamond League, the LSU great cleared 20’ 7” to break the world record for the 12th time in his illustrious career.

🔼 Closing In. For the second straight year, former Tiger Sam Burns found himself amongst the top of the leaderboard at the US Open.
While Burns’ final round on Sunday wasn’t how he wanted to finish, it marked the second straight year that he finished in the top-10 at the event, with his 4-over earning him a tie for seventh-place overall.

🤔 TIGER TRIVIA
We are just 7️⃣4️⃣ days away from kickoff of the 2025 LSU football season.
Back in 1974, two Tigers rushed for 100+ yards in the same game for just the ninth time in program history. 51 years later, it’s happened a total of 34 times now.
In that game against Tulane in 1974, which two LSU standouts each reached 100+ rushing yards?
Got a guess?
