🐯 And much more!

🔼 Oh What A Night. This team, man, this team.

The never-say-die Tigers did it yet again on Wednesday night, delivering a thrilling three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth to punch their ticket to the College World Series Finals with a 6-5 walk-off victory over third-seeded Arkansas.

First baseman Jared Jones’ RBI single capped off the wild turn over events to send LSU on to meet Coastal Carolina in the best-of-three series to determine the 2025 National Champion.

“I would coach this team forever,” said LSU coach Jay Johnson. “I’ve been telling them that probably since March or April. And it’s because of their character.”

LSU will seek its eighth National Championship and its second in the past three seasons. The Tigers have claimed CWS titles in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009 and 2023.

🔼 Howdy Partner. We knew the partners, now we know the locations as the SEC announced the home/away slate for the upcoming 2025-26 basketball seasons this week.

🔼 STATEment Made. History was made this week as the 2025 Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) unveiled its All-Louisiana College Softball Team.

LSU landed six athletes on the squad and earned three major awards, headlined by first baseman Tori Edwards, who was named LSWA 2025 Hitter of the Year and Freshman of the Year.

In the 39-year history of the All-Louisiana Softball Team, Edwards becomes the first freshman to win two major awards. The NFCA All-American is the fifth player in program history to be named the state’s Hitter of the Year and Freshman of the Year.

🔼 Ring Her. She may have graduated from LSU three years ago, but the success on the pitch hasn’t stopped for former Tiger Wasila Diwura-Soale.

The former All-SEC performer was a member of the Tampa Bay Sun FC of the USL Super League, who captured the league title this week.

Diwura-Soale played in 11 games, earning a start in six of those matches in the midfield for the Sun FC.
