🔼 Chasing Eight. All the extra work. All the early morning hours. All of it has led to this.
Three games to determine a National Champion.
Tomorrow night in Omaha, the LSU baseball squad will square off with the hottest team in the country in Coastal Carolina when the two programs battle for the 2025 national title.
The Tigers are seeking their eighth National Championship and their second in the past three seasons. The Tigers have claimed CWS titles in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009 and 2023.

Former Tiger Algot Kleen began the American portion of his professional golf career yesterday on the Korn Ferry Tour at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open.
Kleen made his debut earlier on the DP World Tour and starting with this event has Korn Ferry Tour status for the remainder of 2025 because of his 10th place finish in the PGA Tour University rankings over the last two seasons.
🔼 Academic Aces. Not only did the LSU golf programs ace the course this spring, they also aced the classroom.
This week, a trio of Tigers earned Academic All-District accolades.
Alfons Bondesson of the men’s team and Elsa Svensson and Taylor Riley from the women’s team were honored with the distinction.
The All-District selections is part of the CSC Academic All-American program which has been in existence since 1952. An undergraduate student-athlete must be a sophomore with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. They must have competed in over 70 percent of the competitions in the sport of golf.
