🔼 Titletown, USA. For the second time in three seasons, YOUR Tigers are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
The LSU baseball team completed its perfect trip to the College World Series, sweeping past Coastal Carolina, 1-0 and 5-3, en route to their eighth National Championship.
LSU has now won NCAA championships in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2009, 2023 and 2025.

🔼 Add Another One. And the list keeps growing for the LSU baseball program.
The pathway to the bigs continue to gain riders as former closer Paul Gervase became the latest former Tiger to reach the MLB level, tossing two scoreless innings in Tampa’s 8-3 defeat of Detroit on Saturday.
Gervase, a product of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., is the 90th Major Leaguer in the illustrious history of LSU Baseball. LSU has had at least one former player make his MLB debut in of 31 of the past 35 seasons.
He is the fourth LSU Major Leaguer coached by head coach Jay Johnson during his four seasons at the helm of the program. The others are right-handed pitcher Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates, outfielder Dylan Crews of the Washington Nationals and right-handed pitcher Grant Taylor of the Chicago White Sox.
