🔼 A Tiger Legend. Todd McClure's path to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame started with a reluctant move to center in high school and ended with a 14-year NFL career that proved undersized linemen can outwork everyone else. The Baton Rouge native was a two-time All-SEC selection and first-team All-America honoree at LSU before the Atlanta Falcons drafted him, and he went on to start 159 of 160 games across the bulk of his career. McClure averaged just 1.7 penalties per season over 198 regular-season games and didn't draw a single flag in 2011. On Saturday in Natchitoches, he joins an 11-person class being enshrined in the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

🔼 Welcome to Baton Rouge. LSU softball head coach Beth Torina has added Notre Dame graduate transfer Mickey Winchell to the 2027 roster. The outfielder caps a four-year career with the Fighting Irish having appeared in 164 games, batting .319 with 154 hits, 91 runs scored and 32 stolen bases. Her best season came in 2026, when she led Notre Dame with 59 hits and 38 runs scored while batting .335 across all 53 starts. Winchell also brings elite defense, compiling a .981 career fielding percentage over her time with the Irish.
