Tigers Fight Past UALR, Set To Host West Virginia In Super Regionals

The Tigers were pushed to the limits, but they fought their way into Super Regionals and now The Box will be jumpin’ yet again next weekend.

LSU Baseball's 56-game playoff commenced 110 days ago and thanks
to the efforts of Coach Johnson and his players, the Tigers earned the No. 6
national seed cementing their opportunity to play at home in the postseason.
LSU, in the hunt for its eighth national title, and now is just two wins away
from returning to Omaha yet again.

The YETI Game Changer of the Week is baseball’s Casan Evans. When the team needed him most, Evans delivered a clutch relief outing on Monday night, tossing six innings, allowing just four hits and one run, while striking out 12 to allow the Tigers to claw back and take the lead to earn a trip to Supers.

🔼 Super Troopers. A clutch hitting performance from Ethan Frey and lights out relief from Casan Evans lifted top-ranked LSU to a 10-6 victory in the regional final over Little Rock on Monday night at a jam-packed Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
LSU improved to 45-16 on the season as the Tigers captured the 27th NCAA Regional title in school history.
The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Super Regional round and will face West Virginia in a best two-of-three series beginning either Friday or Saturday in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The winner of the LSU-West Virginia series will earn a berth in the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

🔼 Welcome To The Fam. Coming off another big time 2025 campaign, head coach Jay Clark and the LSU Gymnastics team is loading up for next season.
Late last week, the Tigers welcomed University of Denver transfer Madison Ulrich to the program after she signed for her upcoming junior season in 2026.
A native of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Ulrich was a stand-out gymnast for Denver, where she earned multiple accolades throughout her career, including 2025 All-Big 12 Conference Team honors and 2024 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. She also earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week six times as a freshman in 2024.
Ulrich will add depth to every event for the Tigers next season, having competed in the all-around in every meet during her two seasons at Denver. She is LSU’s second transfer to sign this spring, joining Emily Innes from Washington.

Jared Jones launched his 20th HR deep into the night in the top of the ninth last night against Little Rock.
He is the third Tiger in program history to reach 60+ career HRs at LSU. Can you name the other two?
