🔼 Ready For More. As the blood pressures come down and heart rates slow down, the sixth-seeded Tigers are preparing for more as a gritty, tough West Virginia team is headed to Baton Rouge this weekend.

First pitch of game one is set for 1 pm on Saturday and 5 pm on Sunday, followed by a time to be determined if Monday’s game three is necessary.

Buckle up, Tiger fans, it’s going to be a wild one.

🔼 Punched Ticket. Nothing like reaching a dream with one of your best friends, right?

Former LSU teammates and best friends Sam Burns and Philip Barbaree are now BOTH heading to the U.S. Open at Oakmont next week.

On Tuesday, Barbaree finished off qualifyting with a tournament-best 8-under 64 and earned a ticket for his first appearance as a professional at the U.S. Open.

The former Tiger also qualified for the 2019 event at Shinnecock Hills as an amateur.

🔼 Adversity Knocks, Tigers Answer. Welp the old saying “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” rang quite true for the LSU baseball program this past weekend.

Adversity knocked, but the Tigers knew how to respond.

one of, if not the best, pitching duos in the country. This past weekend at The Box,
they proved that point yet again with back-to-back shutout outings.
