🔼 Omaha! Omaha! For the 20th time in program history, the LSU Tigers are heading to Omaha!
The Tigers had a huge weekend at The Box, sweeping past WVU in the Super Regionals, winning 16-9 and 12-5 to punch their ticket to the College World Series next weekend at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.
It marks the second time in three seasons that LSU will be among the final eight and will be searching for CWS title number eight.
The Tigers will face a familiar face in Arkansas in their opening CWS game on either Friday or Saturday at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb. The NCAA will announce dates and game times for the CWS on Monday.
🔼 Arni Takes Teh Arni. LSU rising sophomore Arni Sveinsson took a drink from the cup this weekend in South Carolina.
Playing as a member of the International team, Sveinsson earned two match points to help the International squad to their first win in three seasons at the prestigious Arnold Palmer Cup, defeating Team USA, 35-25.
Sveinsson won both of his matches on Friday, teaming with in foursomes with Michael Mjaaseth of Arizona State. The pair defeated the American Auburn duo of Carson Bacha and Jackson Koivun, 2&1.

🔼 Six Pack Of Pros. Summer weekends are filling up already and a six pack of former Tigers have quick a schedule ahead of them.
This past weekend, six former members of the LSU softball program were a part of opening weekend in the inaugural season for the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL).
Aliyah Andrews, Ciara Briggs and Carley Hoover suited up for Team Blaze, Danieca Coffey and Ali Newland are members of the Volts, and Sahvanna Jaquish is on the Talons.
The AUSL will operate as a touring property in its first season, with the four teams playing games across 10 different cities. Coffey and Newland will return to Louisiana on June 12-14, when the Volts play a three-game series against the Bandits at McMurry Park in Sulphur, La.
The AUSL Championship will be a best-of-three series on July 26-28 at Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
🎥 LSU+: EYE TO EYE
Nary a base was found without Danieca Coffey on it in her 5 seasons
with LSU Softball, but the journey didn't come without adversity. Coffey
reflects on her relationship with head coach Beth Torina and how she became
the tenacious competitor and grounded teammate she is to propel her
though her next chapter.
