Good morning, Tigers. We are so proud of one of our favorite former Tigers as LSU men’s golf’s Sam Burns finished third at The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Pro Shop. Heading into Sunday’s final round, Burns posted the lowest consecutive 36 hours in championship history.

🔼 Future Battles. LSU football added four Louisiana opponents to future non-conference football schedules: Northwestern State in 2027, Louisiana-Monroe and Southern in 2028, and Tulane in 2030. The Tulane game will mark the Green Wave's first trip to Tiger Stadium since 2009, while the Southern matchup will be just the second meeting between the programs.

🔼 Denton Dominates. Incoming LSU women’s golf freshman Raegan Denton won the 124th Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur, leading stroke-play qualifying as medalist at 5-under before rallying from three holes down to win the 36-hole championship match 5&3. The Australian shot 3-under 33 on the front nine of the afternoon round to pull away. Denton and teammate Ryleigh Knaub are both qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur in August.
