Family and faith powers Michaela Rose to greatness.

Get to know the Suffolk, Va. native who left an incredible legacy as
one of the best to ever toe the line for LSU Track & Field.

🔼 Gettin’ Dubs. Not only does Flau’jae Johnson make an impact on the court, she makes an even greater impact in the community.

“This Giveback Weekend is about showing up,” Johnson said. “I’ve seen how cancer touches families, and I wanted to help bring care to the people who need it. Everyone deserves a chance to catch it early, stay healthy, and feel supported.”

The entire weekend will culminate in a free community festival on July 26 that features a live performance from Johnson, music, food, and much more family fun. Johnson’s admiration and advocacy for the community she grew up in will be on full display, as the giveback festival will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

🔼 California Love. Rising senior Taylor Riley is having quite a nice summer back in her home state of California.

She’s enjoying it so much, she keeps hanging around and on Thursday she extended her stay once again by advancing to the Round of 8 at the 59th Annual California Women’s Amateur Championship.

She battled through a playoff victory, needing the 19th hole to advance to the final 8.

She’s set to tee off in her next match play showdown at 10 am this morning.

🔼 Leading The Way. Kim Mulkey does not only lead the way on the court for the Tigers, she leads the way off the court as well.

The honor is given to someone who has used her extraordinary talent and platform to make Louisiana a better place for others. A proud Louisiana native, Coach Mulkey has spent her life inspiring those around her through leadership, service, and an unwavering commitment to lifting up her community—especially the next generation.
