🔼 Back-To-Back Champs. Former LSU stars Aliyah Andrews and Sahvanna Jaquish won the 2026 AUSL Championship with the Utah Talons, who swept the Chicago Bandits 2-0 in the title series. Jaquish drove in the go-ahead run in Game 1 and capped Game 2 with a solo homer to clinch her second straight title. Andrews earned her first AUSL championship after joining the Talons this season.
🔼 All-Star. Congratulations to Angel Reese, who earned her third-straight WNBA All-Star selection!
🔼 Welcome to Baton Rouge. LSU women's track and field landed a massive addition in JaMeesia Ford, a three-time NCAA champion and 15-time All-American from South Carolina. Ford swept all four of her events at the 2025 SEC Outdoor Championships to earn the Commissioner's Trophy and holds personal bests of 10.87 in the 100 meters and 21.98 in the 200. She was a 12-time Bowerman Award watch list member and three-time USTFCCCA Southeast Regional Track Athlete of the Year.
🔼 On The Podium. Congratulations to LSU women’s tennis’ Kayla Cross, who was a finalist finisher at the ITF W100 Evansville over the weekend!
🔼 Global Competition. LSU swimming & diving’s Sabrina Lyn competed in the 100 breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games, finishing in the Top 8!

Sahvanna Jaquish finished her LSU softball career as the only player in program history to record three seasons of __ RBI.
