Five members of the LSU men’s golf team were named to the NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team.

Greetings, LSU Fam. Five members of the LSU men’s golf team were named to the NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team—Alfons Bondesson, Matt Doydd-Berry, Algot Kleen, Noah McWilliams and Jay Mendell.

To be eligible, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate’s degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.

Brown has been competing as a professional tennis player on the ATP World Tour. During his professional career, he achieved a career high ranking of 865.

He ended his collegiate career at South Carolina with 54 singles wins and a 17-8 record at the No. 6 position.

In honor of the Countdown to Kickoff reaching 3️⃣1️⃣ days, we take a look at legendary LSU receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but not his college stats. Instead, we take note of the fact that, as a senior in high school, Beckham caught 50 passes for 1,019 yards and 19 touchdowns, rushed for 33️⃣1️⃣ yards and six TDs and had four interceptions on defense.
