Good morning, Tigers. LSU swept the top spots on the 2026 LSWA All-Louisiana college track and field squad, with NCAA 200-meter champion Jaiden Reid named men's track athlete of the year and javelin bronze medalist Jack Larriviere earning field honors.

Freshman Malachi Austin and newcomer Grant Buckmiller took their respective awards, while coach Dennis Shaver was named men's coach of the year after leading the Tigers to a fourth-place national finish. On the women's side, LSU's Shawnti Jackson shared track athlete of the year honors with Southern's Tashina Alase, with Princesse Hyman earning field honors and Shaver sharing the women's coaching award with Northwestern State's Mike Heimerman. Congrats, Tigers!

Meet Jada Williams, LSU women's basketball's newest star transfer, who comes to Baton Rouge from Iowa State after averaging 15.3 points, 7.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game, where she earned All-Big 12 First-Team honors for her performance throughout her third collegiate season.

🔼 Welcome to Baton Rouge. LSU track and field has signed javelin thrower Kyle Iorg, a junior transfer from Montana State. Iorg brings a personal best of 73.15 meters (240-0) to Baton Rouge and has qualified for the NCAA West First Round in each of his two collegiate seasons.

LSU also welcomed hurdler Ty'yanah Adams, a junior transfer from Florida A&M. Adams posted a 100-meter hurdle personal best of 13.07 seconds to earn silver at the SWAC Outdoor Championships and was a NJCAA First Team All-American at Barton CC.
