Meet Jada Williams, LSU women's basketball's newest star transfer, who comes to Baton Rouge from Iowa State after averaging 15.3 points, 7.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game, where she earned All-Big 12 First-Team honors for her performance throughout her third collegiate season.

🔼 LSU Tigers Excel In The Classroom.

Baseball: Twelve LSU baseball players earned First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition, with 23 members of the 2026 roster (61%) receiving either first-year or standard SEC academic honors.

Women's Basketball: Kate Koval and Meghan Yarnevich earned spots on the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Volleyball: Laurel Cassidy, Sanaa Donaie, Camryn Jeffery and Emilee Prochaska were named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Gymnastics: Six Tigers earned First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll honors: Nina Ballou, Courtney Blackson, Molly Brinkman, Haley Mustari, Madison Ulrich and Elyse Wenner. Blackson notably came out of retirement for a final season after transferring from Boise State, while Ulrich transferred from Denver and contributed to LSU's NCAA runner-up campaign.

Softball: Cali Deal, Rylie Johnson, Ashlin Mowery and Ci'ella Pickett represented LSU on the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Women's Golf: Freshman Lucia Iraola and sophomore Francesca Fiorellini both earned the distinction, with Fiorellini posting a team-best 72.09 stroke average across 11 events.

Swimming & Diving: Seven Tigers were honored: Diggory Dillingham, Malou Douillard, Kara Jones, Travis Keith, Morgan Lalonde, Simon Meubry and Luke Stibrich.

Soccer: Freshmen Sariyah Bailey and Lila Jaillet earned spots on the honor roll. Bailey made an immediate impact in 2025, starting 19 of 25 matches and finishing with nine goals and seven assists during LSU's historic Sweet 16 campaign.
