🔼 Tigers Take Paris. LSU swimming is going global! Seven Tigers will compete at the 2026 European Aquatics Championships in Paris from Aug. 10-16, led by reigning SEC champion Jere Hribar, who returns to the meet after winning gold in the 50m freestyle and silver in the 100m freestyle for Croatia last December. Nikola Simic, Volodomyr Lisovets, Martina Bukvic, and Jovan Lekic are also back on the world stage, while incoming Tigers Nina Stanisavljević and Ieva Visockaite will make their marks for Serbia and Lithuania before arriving in Baton Rouge this fall.

🔼 Hall of Fame Coach. LSU Gymnastics Associate Head Coach Courtney McCool Griffeth is taking her place among the sport's legends! She was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame on Saturday in Phoenix as part of the seven-member Class of 2026, honored in the Women's Artistic category as an athlete. A silver medalist with the U.S. Olympic team and a four-time NCAA champion at Georgia, McCool Griffeth has guided the LSU floor squad to an NCAA-record 49.725 National Qualifying Score, 14 perfect 10s, and 23 All-America honors in her five seasons in Baton Rouge!

🔼 Sweet 16 Run. LSU sophomore Ryleigh Knaub made a memorable run at the U.S. Women's Amateur! After qualifying for match play with a 2-under 70 in stroke play, Knaub won two matches to reach the round of 16 at The Honors Course in Tennessee. Facing a 3-down deficit when a rain delay paused her round-of-16 match, Knaub battled all the way back, squaring the match with birdies on the 14th and 15th holes, before falling 2&1 to Gabriella Nicastro. Officially credited with a T9 finish, Knaub now returns to Baton Rouge to prep for the 2026-27 season.
