Let’s get this week going, LSU Fam. The LSU Tigers’ 2025-26 men’s golf season isn’t set to begin for another month, but the squad has five players looking for success in the 125th United States Amateur, which begins today in San Francisco.

The LSU quintet is part of a field of 312 that will play 36 holes of qualifying today and tomorrow, seeking one of the elusive 64 spots that advance to match play on Wednesday.

The field will play one round each at The Olympic Club on the par 70 Lake Course (7,214 yards) and the famed Ocean Course (6,787 yards, par 70). The Olympic Club has been the home of several major championships, including five United States Opens.

🎥 LSU+: THE POWERHOUSE

After winning the Baton Rouge Regional, LSU Baseball heads to The Greatest Show on Dirt with sights on a second national title in four years under head coach Jay Johnson. Over 10 days in Omaha, the Tigers battled through wild finishes, clutch moments, and high-stakes showdowns in pursuit of title number eight.

🔼 Places, Everybody. LSU Soccer will be featured across national broadcasts three times throughout the 2025 season. ESPN and SEC Network are set to feature more than 1,980 matches across all platforms this year. 

The Tigers' television slate consists of three conference matches against Auburn, Missouri, and Ole Miss, starting with a road conference matchup against Auburn at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 25, on SEC Network. 

The squad will be featured on TV twice in October, with matchups against Missouri and Ole Miss. The SEC Soccer Tournament will once again air in its entirety on SEC Network, with full coverage details TBA.

🔼 Ushering in a New Era. Julie Cromer has been hired as Executive Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer for LSU Athletics, Director of Athletics Scott Woodward announced Friday. Cromer arrives in Baton Rouge from Ohio University, where she has served as Director of Athletics since 2019.
