Good morning, Tigers. A Celebration of Life for Skip Bertman will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. CT at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 6 p.m., and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ in addition the LSU Sports YouTube and Facebook pages.

In lieu of flowers, the Bertman family requests donations to initiatives close to Skip's heart, including Athletes for Hope, the College Baseball Hall of Fame, the Baseball Excellence Fund, and the Skip Bertman Leadership Endowed Scholarship.

The Oct. 6 event, hosted in coordination with NILSU Max, gives fans the chance to meet Coach Kim Mulkey, the players, and the staff as Mulkey introduces her sixth LSU team ahead of the program's 52nd season. The LSU tight end is the only player at his position among 50 nationwide named to the Walter Camp Foundation "Players to Watch" list for the 2026 Player of the Year Award. Green already holds the LSU record for career touchdown receptions by a tight end with 11, including a single-season record seven scores last year.

🔼 Pro Career Rolling. A former Tiger is on the move in Europe! Ida Hermannsdottir has signed with Hammarby Fotboll through 2030 and will compete in the Damallsvenskan, Sweden's top division. The Reykjavik native arrives after scoring 13 goals in 15 rounds of the Icelandic league, building on an LSU career that saw her rank fifth in program history with 29 goals while earning three All-SEC honors.
