It’s football week, LSU Fam. The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce™ is now the Official Hot Sauce of LSU Athletics.
The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce will be incorporated into concession offerings across LSU sports, and the brand will partner with LSU Athletics on football game day samplings in The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce Tailgate District.
Limited-edition LSU Athletics-themed bottles of The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce will be available this fall.

🔼 A Birdie’s Eye View. LSU sophomore golfer Rocio Tejedo was announced as part of the preseason ANNIKA Award Watch List. The watchlist is the start of a season-long campaign that will lead to the winner being announced at the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships.
Tejedo will begin her sophomore season at LSU as the 28th-ranked women’s player in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. In her freshman campaign, Tejedo had six top-five finishes, including a T2 finish in the Southeastern Conference championships.
The LSU women’s golf team opens the fall portion of its 2025-26 wraparound season in Charleston, South Carolina, Sept. 8-9.

🔼 No Strokes of Luck Needed. LSU men’s golfer, Árni Sveinsson, was one of 25 athletes named to the 2025-26 Haskins Award Preseason Watch List.
Past winners of this award have captured 33 major championships and more than 400 professional tournaments around the world. Named in honor of Fred Haskins, the award is managed by the Haskins Foundation to acknowledge the top male golfer at the end of the season.
Sveinsson closed his freshman year as a Second Team All-SEC member and was also recognized as an All-SEC Freshman. He was selected to the international team for the 2025 edition of the Arnold Palmer Cup.

Your YETI Game Changer Of the Week is LSU linebacker Whit Weeks. Weeks recently added another preseason honor to his growing list as he was named first-team All-America by the Associated Press.
The Watkinsville, Ga, native had previously been named first-team preseason All-America by Athlon’s, and he picked up second-team recognition from Walter Camp and Sporting News.
Weeks, who returns as the leader of the LSU defense, enters his junior season with 174 career tackles. He added 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks last season on his way to earning first-team All-SEC honors.
⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 4️⃣ DAYS

This One’s 4 Alexander the Great. Former LSU running back Charles Alexander, aka "Alexander the Great," wore No. 4️⃣ and was the first 4,000-yard rusher in SEC history, achieving this milestone in 1978. He also received two-time Consensus All-American honors and was a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist, with his jersey number to be retired by LSU this year.
