Hey Fightin' Podcast: Leonard Fournette Reflects on LSU Career & Talks Legacy of No. 7 Jersey
One of the greatest players to ever wear No. 7 joins the latest episode of Hey Fightin' Podcast. Leonard Fournette, former LSU running back and Super Bowl champion reflects on his legendary career in Baton Rouge and some of his favorite moments as a Tiger. Plus, some talk about the No. 7 jersey, which was awarded to Trey'Dez Green and Whit Weeks.

🔼 All In A Number. LSU's most prestigious jersey has a new owner! Center Braelin Moore was awarded the legendary No. 18, becoming just the second offensive lineman to receive the honor since the tradition began in 2003, joining Lloyd Cushenberry, the center on LSU's 2019 national championship team. The fifth-year senior started all 13 games last season, allowing just one sack across 623 snaps. Moore will represent No. 18 with a jersey patch while wearing his No. 61 in games.

The playmaker's No. 7 has two new homes! Head coach Lane Kiffin announced that linebacker Whit Weeks and tight end Trey'Dez Green will both wear the iconic No. 7 this season, following LSU greats like Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Ja'Marr Chase, and Leonard Fournette. Weeks, a team captain and first-team All-SEC honoree, has racked up 205 career tackles, while Green enters 2026 as a preseason All-America after setting the program record for career touchdown receptions by a tight end!
