🔼 Keep Watch. LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt landed on the preseason Maxwell Award watch list! In 24 career games with Arizona State and Michigan State, Leavitt passed for 4,652 yards and 36 touchdowns, while adding 816 rushing yards and 10 scores on the ground.

🔼 Tigers Tee Off. Two LSU women's golfers are taking on one of America's most famous amateur events! Ryleigh Knaub and incoming freshman Raegan Denton compete in the 126th United States Women's Amateur at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Knaub posted three top 10s as a freshman while helping the Tigers reach their sixth consecutive NCAA championship appearance, while Denton enters ranked 47th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings after winning the Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Championship last month. Both tee off around noon CT Tuesday, with match play coverage beginning Thursday on The Golf Channel!

🔼 Tuning Up. You have one more chance to see LSU soccer in action before the regular season gets underway! The Tigers will host Alabama tomorrow at 7 p.m. in an exhibition match with free admission. On Saturday, LSU travels to face UNC-Wilmington in an exhibition battle.

🔼 Scholars of the Green. LSU men's golf is excelling in the classroom and on the course! Four Tigers (Matthew Dodd-Berry, Noah McWilliams, Jay Mendell, and Arni Sveinsson) were named to the NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The honor requires a stroke average under 76.0 and a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. Dodd-Berry, McWilliams, and Mendell earned the recognition for the second straight year, while Sveinsson claimed it in his first year of eligibility!
