🔼 Making A Statement. LSU women’s tennis’ Kayla Cross just made a statement on the big stage! The WTA No. 172 stunned world No. 69 and former Top 25 player Katie Boulter in straight sets, 7-6 (3), 7-5, at the National Bank Open for her first-ever win at a WTA Masters 1000 tournament. The Canadian native, who admitted she was "definitely shocked," continues her hot streak just two weeks after capturing the biggest title of her career at the WTT W75 Granby.

📈 LSU football landed at No. 13 in the 2026 US LBM Coaches Preseason Top 25 released yesterday.

🔼 Anchor Arrives. LSU's newest offensive line star is already earning national buzz! Offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, a second-team all-Big 12 selection last year, was named to the 2026 preseason Outland Trophy Watch List, honoring college football's most outstanding interior lineman. The Washington D.C. native started 22 games at left tackle over two seasons at Colorado, including all 13 as a true freshman in 2024.

🔼 Welcome to Baton Rouge. LSU women's golf welcomes Scott Seymour as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 season after five years leading MidAmerica Nazarene. Seymour built the Pioneers into a Heart of America Conference power, capturing back-to-back conference championships in 2024 and 2025 while earning Conference Coach of the Year honors three straight seasons. He also guided his men's squad to three consecutive NAIA National Championship appearances, and was twice named GCAA Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
