Uncut. LSU Football offensive line coach Brad Davis is mic'd up during spring ball as he gears up for his fourth season with the Tigers.

👕  GEAR UP FOR GAMEDAY

🔼 Shining Silver. Two Tigers took silver medals on the track at the Olympics on Saturday. Sha’Carri Richardson took second in her first-ever Olympic final, the 100m. She ran a 10.87s time in the pouring rain. Vernon Norwood assisted in a World Record time in the 4×400m relay heats. He and the USA squad went on to claim second in the final.

In the pool, former LSU diver Juan Celaya-Hernandez earned his first Olympic medal. He took home silver in the three-meter synchronized dive with a 444.03 score.

🔼 Survive & Advance. LSU men’s basketball Associate Head Coach David Patrick and former Tiger Duop Reath are headed to the Olympic men’s basketball quarterfinals! Coach Patrick is an assistant coach and Reath plays for Australia. The Boomers went 1-2 in pool play, but still advance because of point differential in a three-way tie. They’ll take the court tomorrow.

🔼 Past & Present. Two Tigers are taking on the U.S. Women’s Amateur this week! Former women’s golfer Latanna Stone and incoming freshman Rocio Tejedo are two of 156 competitors that look to qualify to Wednesday’s match play. Tejedo sits at No. 36 and Stone is right behind her at 37 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

🔼 Strong Slate. The 2024-25 women’s golf schedule is here and the slate is stout! The fall portion will begin at the Cougar Classic in South Carolina, September 9-10. Fall competition will conclude at the end of October and spring will start in early February. Three regular season tournaments will be nationally televised on The Golf Channel — the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, the East Lake Cup, and the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
