🔼 Ranked And Ready. LSU men's golf opens the 2026-27 season ranked No. 6 by Golfweek and No. 10 by Golf Channel. The Tigers are coming off a 12th-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Championships, the program's first appearance under head coach Jake Amos just two seasons in. Six players return, joined by freshmen John Doyle and Austin Randall. The fall slate begins Sept. 13 at the three-day Inverness Intercollegiate.


The LSU women check in at No. 14 by The Golf Channel and No. 16 by Golfweek as they chase a seventh straight NCAA Championship tournament appearance. Juniors Rocio Tejedo and Josefin Widal return alongside sophomore Ryleigh Knaub, who reached the round of 16 at the United States Women's Amateur, and freshman Raegan Denton joins the group as a preseason All-American pick. Garrett Runion enters his ninth season at the helm. The Tigers open Labor Day, Sept. 7, at the Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club outside Charleston, South Carolina.

🔼 Freshman Phenom. LSU women’s golf freshman Raegan Denton has been named a preseason third team All-America selection and a first-team All-Freshman pick by The Golf Channel's Brentley Romine. The Australian native put together a big summer, capturing the Pacific Northwest Amateur Championship and reaching the round of 32 at the United States Women's Amateur. She enters her first season in Baton Rouge ranked No. 47 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. The Tigers open the 2026-27 season at the Cougar Classic outside Charleston, South Carolina, next week.

🔼 Robinson Owns Week One. LSU senior outside hitter Jurnee Robinson has been named SEC Player of the Week after a dominant opening weekend. Robinson tied a career-best with 34 kills against Wake Forest, adding 11 digs and two solo blocks for her 30th career double-double and 36.0 points, then followed it up with 22 kills, 14 digs, and six blocks against Incarnate Word. Her 56 kills on the weekend pushed her to ninth in program history with 1,408 career kills, passing both Lisa Smith and Jennifer Hampton. Robinson leads LSU and the SEC with 7.06 points and 6.22 kills per set.

🔼 Conference Clashes. LSU volleyball hits the road for the 2026 Allstate Big Ten/SEC Challenge Week, facing Michigan State this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. CT and Michigan tomorrow at 6 p.m. CT at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. The Tigers roll in at 2-0 after an opening weekend where the defense held opponents to a .176 hitting percentage and led the SEC with 16.89 digs per set. Jurnee Robinson has been the engine, pacing the conference with 7.06 points and 6.22 kills per set while notching double-doubles in both matches. Tuesday's match airs on the Big Ten Network, with Wednesday's on B1G+.
