On the latest edition of Hearing Voices, Chris Blair travels down to Gainesville to visit with Sean Kelley, Voice of the Florida Gators, to preview Saturday's matchup between LSU and UF, which always seems to deliver.

🔼 Holding Court. The LSU women’s tennis program has released its 2025-26 fall schedule, announced by Head Coach Taylor Fogleman. The Tigers will open the season this month and close with the NCAA Individual Championships in November.

The Tigers begin play at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala., today through Sunday (Sept. 12-14), before heading to Cary, N.C., for the ITA All-American Championships, which feature pre-qualifying rounds on Sept. 20-21 and qualifying rounds on Sept. 22-23. Competition continues with the ITA Southern Regional Championships in Auburn, Ala., from Oct. 13-17, followed by the TCU Fall Open in Fort Worth, Tx., from Oct. 23-26.

🔼 Welcome to Death Valley. The LSU cross country team returns home for its second meet of the season as it hosts the LSU XC Invitational at the LSU UREC Field Complex this morning:

Men’s 2x4K | 8:15 a.m. CT
Women’s 2x3K | 9:00 a.m. CT

This week’s meet will mark the last of two meets within Louisiana this season. The Tigers will play host to Louisiana-Lafayette, Nicholls State, SE Louisiana and Southern. Both the men’s and women’s cross-country teams are fresh off top-three finishes as teams at the Battle for New Orleans.

🔼 Should Be Smooth Sailing. The LSU Soccer team (5-3-0) will meet its second-ranked opponent of the year as it opens conference play against No. 13 Vanderbilt (6-1-0) tonight at 7 p.m. CT inside Vanderbilt Soccer Complex.

The Commodores sit at No. 13 in the national rankings this week, coming off a win against Middle Tennessee on Sunday. The Tigers wrapped up the non-conference portion of their schedule with a 2-0 victory over Utah last Sunday afternoon at Ute Field. LSU struck first in the 15th minute of the match as freshman forward Sariyah Bailey claimed her first goal of her career.

🔼 Baker Breaks Through. Former Tiger forward Mollie Baker has officially signed her first professional soccer contract with the Kristianstads DFF women’s football team in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

Baker was a key piece to the LSU Soccer program from 2022-24, where she finished out her career after spending two seasons at North Carolina. During her career with the Tigers, Baker tallied nine goals, 13 assists and 143 shots in 62 games played (41 starts). 

Baker was a leader for the Tigers on and off the field, as she captained the squad in the 2024 season.
