🔼 Record Book Rewritten. LSU women's golf closed out the Golfweek Red Sky Classic with the low team round of the day for the second straight time, firing a 17-under 271, the second-lowest single 18-hole team round in program history. The Tigers finished fifth at 31-under 833, tied for the third-lowest 54-hole total the program has ever posted. Ryleigh Knaub led the way with a career-best 7-under 65 in the final round to tie for third, while freshman Raegan Denton tied for fifth after becoming just the eighth LSU player with three rounds in the 60s on a par 72 course. LSU returns Oct. 12 for the debut Haskins Intercollegiate in Columbus, Georgia.

🔼 Live Like Lou. It’s almost that time again! Tickets are on sale now for the Live Like Lou Las Vegas Classic from March 5-7. LSU, Iowa, Arizona State, and Oregon State will participate in this year’s edition.

🔼 Gold Game. LSU soccer hosts its Gold Game on Sunday against Georgia! It’s alumni weekend and camper reunion weekend, plus the first 750 fans will get a free scarf. 🔼 Remembering Jim Collier. Longtime LSU assistant coach Jim Collier has passed away at his home in Farmerville, Louisiana. Collier joined Charles McClendon's staff in 1965 and spent 15 years as the Tigers' wide receivers coach, a stretch that included 10 bowl appearances, the 1970 SEC Championship, and four straight nine-win seasons from 1969-72. He coached first-team All-SEC selections Andy Hamilton and Gerald Keigley along with six future NFL Draft picks. Before coaching, Collier was a first-team All-Southwest Conference receiver at Arkansas and played two NFL seasons with the Giants and Washington.
