🔼 Homecoming In Purple. Chloe Larry is back in Louisiana. The Bossier City native transferred to LSU in April after two seasons at Tennessee Tech, where she averaged 13.6 points as a sophomore and earned Ohio Valley Conference All-Freshman honors the year before. The move also reunites her with Mikaylah Williams, her former high school teammate, with whom she won state championships before their paths split in college. Larry shot 34.6 percent from three last season and brings another perimeter scoring option to the Tiger backcourt.

🔼 Minor League Debut Awards. Congratulations to Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson for their nominations as finalists at this year’s MiLB awards!

🔼 Fifth-Set Fury. LSU volleyball saved its best for last, blitzing Alabama 15-3 in the deciding set to take its SEC opener 3-2 at the Maravich Center. The Tigers were in complete control down the stretch, hitting .600 in the fifth with a 100-percent sideout rate while holding the Crimson Tide to a negative attacking percentage. Jurnee Robinson posted a 22-kill, 12-dig double-double, Jessica Jones added a season-high 12 kills on .474 hitting, and Sanaa Donaie led all players with seven blocks. The win snapped Alabama's six-match winning streak.

LSU heads to Starkville on Sunday for a 2 p.m. CT match at Mississippi State.
