1️⃣ ONE BIG THING

Hoops Season Loading 📈. The LSU men’s basketball team went through a just over two-hour practice on the floor of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center Wednesday afternoon to signal the official beginning of preseason practice for the 2025-26 campaign.

The Tigers, under fourth-year head coach Matt McMahon, focused on transition offense and defense, as well as rebounding and blockout drills.

🗣“We are really excited about the roster. It’s essentially a brand-new team, which I think is great. It allows us to shape this team into whatever we can be.” - Coach McMahon

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Ronald Dupree!

Dupree—who is now part of Coach Matt McMahon’s staff in the newly created position of General Manager—had his third consecutive 500-point season, scoring 504 points to average 15.8 points per game, during his senior season at LSU. He is one of just four players — joining Shaquille O’Neal, Durand Macklin and Bob Pettit — to finish in both the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding in their LSU careers.

🐯 Have a great weekend, y’all!
