The Hurry Up: Jackson Harris Talks Breakout Performance

Wide receiver Jackson Harris had a breakout performance, tallying six catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns, on Saturday night in LSU's 35-6 win over No. 23 Texas A&M. He joins Gordy Rush on the latest edition of The Hurry Up.

🔼 Fresh Impact. Congratulations to LSU freshman Deuce Geralds who earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors! Geralds posted five tackles, including two sacks, on Saturday in LSU’s big win over Texas A&M.

🔼 Remembering Armando Vega. LSU has lost a legend of its gymnastics program, as former men's coach Armando Vega passed away at his home in Dallas at 90. Vega led the Tigers from 1972-84, guiding teams to nine NCAA top-10 finishes, 12 straight Southern Intercollegiate Gymnastics League titles, and developing 58 All-Americans. He was named NCAA Gymnastics Coach of the Year in both 1977 and 1978 and inducted into the LSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021. Before coaching, Vega won six NCAA titles as a gymnast at Penn State and competed for the United States at the 1956 and 1964 Olympics.
