Good morning, Tigers. Former LSU left-hander Kade Anderson swept two categories at the Minor League Baseball Awards Show, taking home Minor League Pitching Prospect of the Year and Minor League Debut of the Year. The Madisonville native went 10-1 with a 1.06 ERA and 135 strikeouts to just 13 walks in 18 Double-A starts before Seattle called him up in August.
Former teammate Anthony Eyanson, now in the Orioles organization, was also a finalist for Debut of the Year. Anderson was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2025 College World Series in leading LSU to its eighth national title.

Jurnee Robinson is rolling with three straight double-doubles and leads the SEC in both kills and points per set, sitting fourth nationally in total points. Camryn Jeffery has posted double-digit kills in five of the last six matches, including a career-high 17 at Mississippi State, and Jessica Jones added a career-best 14 in the same match. The Commodores bring the SEC's top hitting percentage into Baton Rouge.
🔼 Six Tigers In October. Six former LSU players are eligible for the 2026 MLB playoff rosters, spread across four clubs. Alex Bregman and Kevin Gausman are with the Cubs, Aaron Nola is in Philadelphia, Hunter Feduccia and Paul Gervase are with the two-time defending champion Dodgers, and Grant Taylor is with the White Sox. LSU has produced a World Series winner in four straight seasons, starting with Bregman in 2022. Taylor is fresh off a big year in the White Sox bullpen, going 7-3 with a 2.25 ERA and 10 saves across 60 appearances.
