🔼 Cleanest Sheets in Town. The LSU Soccer Team (5-3-0) wrapped up the non-conference portion of the season with a 2-0 win over the Utah Utes (4-2-1) on Sunday afternoon at Ute Field. It is the squad’s third clean sheet on the year thus far.

The Tigers outperformed the Utes in Sunday’s matchup, striking first in the 15th minute as forward Amy Smith claimed a goal via deflection from teammate Sariyah Bailey. Already the Tigers’ leading scorer on the year, junior forward Ava Galligan added another to her resume as she helped secure the win with her goal in the 43rd minute.

LSU goalkeeper Audur Scheving held Utah scoreless in her first start of the season with the help of the Tiger defense in Salt Lake City.

🔼 The Went With the “Flo.” The LSU volleyball team (4-2) capped an undefeated weekend at the Flo Hyman Classic with a statement win, handing Houston (5-1) its first loss of the season in a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-23, 26-24) Saturday at the Fertitta Center. The victory marks LSU’s third sweep of the year and closes out a perfect 3-0 showing in Houston.

Outside hitter Nia Washington powered the offense with a team-best 17 kills, while also contributing six digs and two blocks. Fellow outside hitter Jurnee Robinson followed closely with 15 kills on a .345 hitting percentage and added six digs, three blocks, and an ace.

🔼 Home Field Advantage. The LSU softball team released its 2025 fall schedule, which features eight games, including six contests at Tiger Park.

For the second consecutive year, fall competition will begin with two games against South Alabama in Mobile, Ala., on Oct. 16 (6 p.m. CT) and Oct. 17 (4 p.m. CT) at Jaguar Field. The remainder of the fall schedule will be played at Tiger Park, starting with a 5 p.m. CT game against Jones College on Oct. 23.

LSU will return 12 players from the 2024 roster, including a pair of NFCA All-Americans in catcher Maci Bergeron and first baseman Tori Edwards.

🔼 Fall Forward, Golf’s Back. The LSU women’s golf team gets the fall portion of its 2025-26 wraparound season underway today at the Cougar Classic in Charleston, South Carolina. The Cougar Classic has become a traditional starting point for LSU seasons at the historic Yeamans Hall Club, which will play to a par of 71.

Coach Garrett Runion begins his eighth season at the helm, having taken the team to a school record five consecutive NCAA Championship appearances.

🔼 Partnership Forged in Athletics. LSU Athletics, through LSU Sports Properties, is proud to announce an expanded multiyear partnership with Venture Global, a leading U.S. exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG), further strengthening the relationship between the two organizations.

As part of this enhanced agreement, Venture Global will deepen its presence across multiple sports and fan touchpoints. The collaboration will feature new in-venue branding, including logo placement on the 25-yard lines at Tiger Stadium’s historic field, as part of a broader effort to deliver innovative activations and meaningful engagement across LSU Athletics.

🔼 From Maryland, With Love. The LSU Fighting Tigers football team represents the great state of Louisiana. Tiger fans are well aware of the many outstanding LSU athletes who were born and raised in Louisiana. However, many notable LSU players have traveled to Baton Rouge from other areas of the country.

Women’s Basketball National Champion Angel Reese and former LSU linebacker Greg Penn III both came from Baltimore, Maryland. This season, the Tigers have two Maryland natives on the football roster in cornerback Mansoor Delane and kicker Damian Ramos.

These players underwent two completely different journeys to LSU. Delane, who played from 2022-24 at Virginia Tech, is a key member of the Tigers’ top-ranked transfer portal class for this season. Ramos is going into his fifth season at LSU. He committed to the Tigers right out of St. Paul’s School in Baltimore.
