Geaux Big With B. On the latest episode of Geaux Big with B, sophomore ⁠AC Froehlich⁠ joins Bailey Ortega to talk about the upcoming LSU Volleyball season & more. Froehlich, the Lafayette native, played high school volleyball at St. Thomas More High School where she won the 2022 State Championship title and was selected as the 2022 Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.

🔼  Shut ‘Em Down. LSU defensive end Braydn Swinson was named the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week! He recorded a career-high three sacks, a forced fumble, and five total tackles. All three of his sacks had an impact on the final score as one resulted in pushing the Gamecocks out of field goal range, one resulted in a fumble, and the third silenced South Carolina’s comeback.

🔼  Open The Gates. The women’s basketball team will begin practice next Monday, September 23, on the main floor of the PMAC! Practice is open to fans with doors opening at 1 p.m. and practice beginning at 1:30 p.m. The first 300 students will receive some free pizza!

🔼 First W Down. Former LSU women’s golfer Ingrid Lindblad didn’t take long to earn her first professional victory! She won the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic on the Epson Tour, earning $35,625 and 500 Epson Tour points. She’ll play in the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout in Arkansas next week.

🔼 Double Trouble. Two men’s tennis Tigers are playing at the ITF Pro Circuit M15 Fayetteville this week at the Billingsley Tennis Center. Ishaan Ravichader makes his LSU debut in the competition and Alessio Vasquez opens his sophomore season. The competition began yesterday and will run through Sunday.
